Ornate Brass Lamp

    Personally I think the thing is godawful, but I'm told it's missing some of its crystals and the brass has since darkened. The box it came from said Loevsky & Loevsky but I threw it out because the cardboard for the most part had all but decomposed. 20221120_174925_11zon.jpg

    LOL! My imagination is rampaging! However, I was referring to a not-to-be-forgotten article of clothing.

    The house was built in 1914. my aunt has owned the house since 1998 and some of the furniture is so old most places refuse to reupholster the furniture anymore.

    Looks like it's missing ALL of the crystals. Probably had tear drops on top and on each tier.

    This type of style was popular in 1960s into early 70s, and it's probably not brass, but rather a zinc alloy / pot metal.

    I am in the godawful camp but the Hollywood Regency crowd would go nuts for this. Do look for those crystals.

    Hollywood Regency meets Liberace on acid-have a good journey trippers ! Needs to be fitted with a motor so it revolves.
