Featured Porcelain whatchamacallit

Odd piece. Found in an attic box and don’t remember where I got it. It’s porcelain in the feel of Lenox or Belleek. Unmarked. It’s a youth in a short toga kneeling in the palm of a hand. The hand and boy are glossy but the bottom(the top of the hand) is unglazed matte finish and has very good detail. Hand is open at the wrist and hollow. About 4.5” long by 3” wide by 3.75” tall. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I figured that it might be related to some Biblical or mythological story. If we knew exactly, that would help. And why is the hand open at the wrist?? For candy? Cigarette butts? LOL

 

Yes. Must be a variant of that theme. That’s a little child. This is a young adult in a mini-toga.
