I bought this at a yard sale this morning. Would like to see what you guys think. It is 9 inch tall with the hobnail on some of it, amber yellow clear color. Some of the hobnail looks clear until you turn it and it turns yellow. Flat bottom only on the edge and hobnail in the center bottom. Thanks SDC15048.JPG SDC15049.JPG SDC15050.JPG SDC15052.JPG

I like it in that it seems to me to be a one off type of thing.
I once ordered the next piece made by a glassblower, who later became well known, at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. He screwed up what he wanted to do and said he would start over but I liked it and also thought it would be different because of the accident. I still have it. :) His name is John Barber.

Fenton did not use that type of base. I believe that their bases were all smooth, except for the Robert Barber series in 1976 and some really old Art Glass around the early 20's which had polished pontils. Hanging Hearts etc.
