I can't find another like this chesterfield rocker. I see they were popular in the 1880's. Any information or price speculation would be great. I pulled the pictures from eBay I am picking it up in 2 weeks my so is going to love it. Hopefully I didn't pay too much...

Nice buy, James, and welcome! Unfortunately, the market for Victorian furniture is down at the moment, so that rocker would only bring about $25-$50 in my part of the U.S. Midwest. Hopefully we'll see a rebound!

Well it cost me £152, but it was a must have. Maybe I'll hold on to it for many years

It's a nice piece, so I'm sure you'll get many dollars/pounds worth of enjoyment out of it before its time to sell.

If you plan to sit in it - and I HOPE YOU DO!!! - how are you conditioning the leather? Leather that old can break down fairly quickly once used.

The colors are stunning! I love it!

A friend of mine beautifully restored some forties leather Stickley furniture using this product. https://www.leathertouchupdye.com/ They have tutorials. I was amazed at the result. He had some newish Stickley reproductions and you can't tell the difference now between the once faded and scratched cushions and the newer ones.
