    Oh DUH! ! :shame::shame::shame::hilarious:
    I should learn to read the title of the question and not just look at pictures.

    Sorry.

    Do you think it is Silver?

    It's definitely possible, Brywil. It needs a gentle cleaning both front and back. Might reveal more marks on the back.

    It says "Industria Peruana" which, to the best of my knowledge, just signifies that it was made in Peru.

    True, Debora. But if it is also marked 925 in the gunk somewhere, then Bry will know the answer to his question.

    Agreed. I'd assume it was silver and it should be stamped such someone on it.

    Well the other mark (picture I added in comments). Looks like 800 but if so it is upside down compared to others

    Being upside down isn't really an issue. That's one the areas where a cleaning may help reveal what that really is.

    To expand on my previous post, I've also seen an "Industria Argentina" stamp on vintage jewelry. And I wonder, but can find no support, if it's a official trade stamp of sorts and indicates the item was from the national silver industry, for example. Perhaps someone else knows.

    I believe it is 900 silver which seems common

    900 would be more likely than 800 for Peru, too.

    I agree. And 900 also makes an older date likely. By the 70s they were mostly using 925 silver in Peru.

    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Or 83? Could be RB.
