It was in with some high value costume and sterling jewelry. The chain is probably not original. The Hallmark is on the pendant. Thanks! (Looks like a W with a CH underneath and 925)

Did you check the stone to see if it is amber? Do you have a black light, if so you can see if it fluoresces in the dark under black light. If not, you can get a black light flashlight from amazon pretty cheaply.

Charming pendant. The stone looks like treated amber, and could be Baltic as komo suggested.
The style of the pendant looks Polish. Although Poland has a wonderful assaying system with good marks, modern pieces can be marked with 925 only.
Finding the maker can be difficult, and it won't change the value.

I notice that the marks are on the bail only. The bail looks a bit big for the pendant, so I wonder if it is original to the piece. If not, the maker is of the bail only (and another pendant), not the amber pendant.

Agreed, looks like fairly modern Polish amber.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Also, in the last photo the chain and bail look a lot more shiny than the pendant setting does. I think you are on to something.

Thanks for the response. It was in with some Boucher, Birk's, and E. From jewelry so I thought it might be something. The bail may have been added later but the estate I got the items from didn't look like they needed to "fake" anything. Maybe it was a repair? The similar knock offs on ebay are much larger - who knows?

Bails and other findings are replaced regularly. Nothing to do with faking, but with breaking. (Faking-breaking, it's the poet in me.:bag:)
Yours is not a knock-off of anything. It is what it is, a charming silver and treated amber pendant, probably Polish.
I've never seen fake 20th-21st century Polish jewellery.
