    The Georgian ones I've seen are more caricature

    Yes, she was.:) To me the setting looks ca 1900, and the painting looks later on in the 20th.

    I'm going to agree with the above. A newish miniature in an older frame. She's a bit of a pastiche. Regency hair, early Victorian (1830s) balloon sleeve on right shoulder, the left is a bit of a muddle. And the scarf? Can't image its purpose or the period its meant to represent. If I had to guess... I'd think 1940ish when the gowns for Greer Garson's Pride and Prejudice were changed from Regency to early Victorian to show off her shoulders.
