Featured Help with a blended majolica jardiniere and pedestal.

    I bought this set at an estate sale today. It’s decorated with water birds (pelicans?) and heart-shaped leaves. It’s unmarked. Can anyone identify the maker?

    Can we see the bottom of the pedestal? Where are you located and where was the estate sale?

    Also, I'm pretty sure the pedestal is upside down, the way you show it it would probably topple over. Sorry if you already knew that :)

    I’m in Portland Or. It was the estate of an old vintage dealer, so he had ceramics from all over. I snagged another jardiniere that I positively id’d as antique Roseville.

    You have it the correct way. It just looks top heavy. The open part would not be on top

    My inclination would be McCoy Blended Glaze 1910-1920's but I couldn't find that exact pattern. Looks like a bird and reed pattern? You could try googling (blended jardinière) and some of the other terms and you may spot it.
    P.S. Gorgeous shape and glazes!
