Get better quick. Bugs are rampant right now.

 

As a teacher, I sure know. Our poor kids are going home sick left and right....one class had only six students left at the end of the day Thursday. Even though I wear a mask, I still got it. I do have just a few recent finds to photograph from last weekend.

Speaking of great deals....one day thrifting, one day at a big antique mall.

Two thrift shops had entire store half-priced sales. Got my brother and nephews great clothes, and myself a $6 black wool coat. Raggedy Ann and Andy, $1 each

Vintage Steven's Fat Cat towels, antique mall, $2.95 each.

Antique mall, $3, vintage gutta percha grape motiff rosary, Victorian? Back marked ROMA, $3.

Lastly, where the owner loupes everything I pick up, a mistake. Sold as sterling for $36, 14k Linde star ring, engraved 12-25-75 by FJG, Frank J. Golden. The owner was busy and not at the register.

 

Nice I think I have one of those hearts here from my teen years. I gotta look later on and see if that is so.

This weekend, all I found was a grocery store discount on gasoline. The church sale was a waste of sleep deprivation.

 

Went to bed very early last night, and woke up for church on time this morning without the alarm clock. At least that was good.

 

I love cobalt blue glass. Those are beautiful, as is the entire display. You have to surround yourself with what you love.

I couldn't resist the blue.

 

I picked them up and put them down several times. I thought they would help to bridge the visual gap between my Aladdin lamps and the art glass vase.
