Featured Good afternoon All! Can You Please Help With The age of this Filigree bracelet? Ty

Hi Everyone! I hope all are well. I need your help with the age of this bracelet. It is silver with no markings and was tested to be silver. Do you think this piece is late 1800’s or early 1900’s? Pretty bracelet. I think it is fairly recently made, probably in the Middle East, possibly further east.

Did you also check the hinge and closure rings for marks? They hide out there sometimes.

It could be this century, but no older that 1990s.

 

There doesn't appear to be any wear or discoloration on it, so I would think it was made in the last 20 years.

Something that requires the addition of elbow grease? I hope it wasn't that nasty dip stuff. It looks like a new bracelet to me too.

 

Not it wasn't the dip stuff. It took me 40 minutes to clean it.

I find it interesting that the pin is in the middle of the connecting chain. Usually it is on the end of a separate chain.
The fold-over of the pin is something I've seen on Palestinian bracelets, but it is occasionally used elsewhere as well.

 

Yes, in the middle of the chain......so unusual.
Funky clasps are so much fun, especially in antique jewelry.
