I believe USA is this piece's origin, 1940s. Was in my [Polish] great-grandparents' home in Chicago. I could definitely be off on the date, as well as country--open to ideas. It's not quite an esthetic match for the other furniture I have from that household, which is Cushman Colonial. I could not find any markings of make or model on this item.

Stands around 50" high; dimensions for the interior shelves are 22w x 10h x 13.5d

    Thanks for any help!

Yes, a Majestic cabinet by Grigsby-Grunow. They became huge and successful, but over extended themselves and were bankrupt by 1933- reorganized into new companies. I have a 1932 model 307 cabinet seen here. . a real beauty ! [IMG]

Really not much to add. Not even vaguely related to Cushman. These radio cabinets with doors are repurposed easily and make handy accent pieces.

Thank you for looking. I thought it looked like a radio cabinet, and the exact one he had came up when I was confirming it. But as you know, I have little to offer when it comes to furniture, and I don't want to lead a new member astray.

PS; Feel free to ask if you have any Cushman questions - I'm a collector of their furniture.
