Shiny ones look glass or maybe actual turquoise. The ones which look older, a bit less polished and more used are good ancient faience. The little ribbed ones are interesting.

(I found Mr.Beadman on FB, so I posted them, and he's just said more-or-less the exact same xxx )


Meant to say he also mentioned he thought some were ancient Indo-Pacific beads xxx

 

Oh, I'll have to find him. Which did he think were Indo Pacific?

 

He just said *some*, I think there were too many on the string for him to be specific. I lost hours ooking at the beads on the FB page, I must say xxx
