What do a DEAD FISH, A Cat and Mouse Have in Common?

I don't have a clue what this is supposed to be or who made it but I LOVE IT!!

It measures 3 5/8 inches long, 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches wide.

    It's unmarked.

Only thing I can think of perhaps a matchstick holder?

    Whatcha think?

    That's SO cool

Love how the mouse is appearing through the fish eye

So much expression in the cat as well

Never seen anything like it before

    Really well done as well

I love this! I see the triangle thing but I also see what look like numbers?

    Wow, I love it!

Perhaps for holding cocktail/appetizer forks? Fish seem to be a popular theme for that:

That's actually good news! At least I now know it's a factory piece and not someone's school project.

Although, I wouldn't call it majolica!

I don't know but all the Open Salt Collectors would declare it an Open Salt!

Nah, real individuality and skill gone into this

I didn't think majolica either, but does seem to fit in with that quirky genre

I would be hesitant to sell without finding the maker, to good to pass through the net
