Need help identifying chair

    Hi, can anyone help with the name of the chair my mother recently purchased. We were thinking it was a Windsor chair but not sure. Thank you in advance.

    Beautiful chair, but it isn't a Windsor chair. Love your fireplace and screen as well.:)
    To me the chair looks like Sheraton meets Vienna Secession, but I wil 'tag' one of our knowledgeable furniture members for you.

    Yes, round about that time, late 19th-early 20th to me.

    Edwardian yes, but I've seen similar as late as the 1940s. It's got that Duncan Phyfe revival look that was so common in that decade, really into the early 1950s while Modernism was rearing its head elsewhere. A handsome mahogany armchair.
