Royal Mint Ring

Well that’s what I think it is.
It took me a bit of time to track down the hallmark but the Tower of London is the Royal Mint. The GS could be Gerald Sheehan Royal Mint Classics but the shape of the mark is different
I can’t find anything like it online but the photo of the mark suggests 2005. The only other RM jewellery is 2022 886 collection.
There is no date letter just a U that I think is the size.
It’s a man’s ring, heavy and the stone tests as a diamond, otherwise unremarkable and pretty well worn.
Is it odd that I can’t find this online, was RM jewellery a flop or just not many made? I had no idea RM even made jewellery!

GS is a Sheffield maker. Odd there’s the Royal Mint mark too.

 

Thanks Houseful, Yes, the assay office mark is Sheffield.
I wonder if the mark I found is for Royal Mint Classics by Gerald Sheehan and the one you found is just for Gerald Sheehan or for another GS RM collection?
