That seems like a fine distinction to be able to make. The area where my Swedish grandmother was born was historically part of Norway until the mid 1600's, and continued to speak Norwegian until the 1800's. There is so much common history and culture between the two countries.

    The sticker says "SWEIZER HEIMATWERK"...
Swiss? A shop in Zurich had that name.

The sticker has nothing to do with the vase as such...manufacture is not the Heimatwerk.....as this is a shop that sells various household decorative items...and thus they used their label/sticker on all itemsthat the shop sold. So its still an open question as to who and where ? Heimatwerk = Swiss for household decor

Just going by what the website says. I have no personal knowledge.

    "Schweizer Heimatwerk
Genuine Swiss handicraft from local production: these souvenirs are guaranteed “Made in Switzerland”.

Founded in 1930, the Schweizer Heimatwerk label has developed into a well established label. It stands for Swiss handicraft of the highest quality, functionality, and excellent design.

The diversity of the product range includes both Helvetian tradition and current trends – in fact everything from wooden spinning tops to glass bowls and jewelry. These varied and exquisite works of art ‘Made in Switzerland’ make the Schweizer Heimatwerk range unique in the world. Guests and locals alike appreciate these wonderful gift ideas from Switzerland"

I got a air nailer 'free with purchase' of an air compressor. The label said CRAFTSMAN. Under that was Campbell Hausfeld. Under that was a dozen various Asian language stickers.
