Featured Geschulzt statue figurine clay ceramic???

This little girl with a cat has a mark Ges Geschulzt F.B and a number 556. She looks to be old and is nicely painted. She is about 10" tall. Has anyone seen these before?

 

I think it's cool, but no idea about the maker. Might be worth taking a look at doll manufacturers?

I think it is cool as well. No idea of maker, but 100% German. Love it.

I did notice one thing... the beer stein appears to have the "HB" Hofbrauhaus logo.

By the way, it is not "geschulzt", but geschützt, "ges. geschützt" meaning protected by law.

 

Yes, ges. geschützt is short for 'gesetzlich geschützt', as Mat said protected by law, which goes for the design. It is like a copyright symbol.

There's nice detail in this and the colors have held up well. It does seem more likely to be a boy than a girl.
