Can someone help me identify the marks on my ugly duckling?

So, this is a brooch that I bought for next to nothing in a lot of jewelry. It came from the Netherlands, and when I held it in my hands I could cry: someone had glued/soldered an ugly glass rhinestone on the middle 'cap'.

This type of jewelry usually had senailles (small, simple cut diamonds) or rose/table cut diamonds, who were put on a cap that was covered with silver foil, as to enhance the diamonds lustre in candle- lit banquets).

So I started to remove the hideous rhinestone, and the whole cap came off!
Honestly, I like it better this way than before. Putting the cap on would not be too much a hassle, finding and setting the right rosecut diamond would be a costly affaire I m afraid.
So for now it waits for the right stone in my repair box.

but now my question: I do recognize a little sword stamp, but the rest of the stamps are a mystery to me. Can someone help me with reading those marks please?

The maker's mark is not in my files, so I'll tag @DragonflyWink for you.
Just wondering, is it HJ, or is it H and a symbol? A shoe? Duckling?
The other mark is probably a maker's code, for his own reference.

I'm sure you know the period of this particular sword mark, but for others who come across this thread, it is the 1814-1905 sword.

No doubt it will first sit for some years in my 'repair' hoard before I find a good jeweler/replacement stone.
I do have a spare 'cup' with intact rosecut diamond but thats intended for yet another brooch
