This little guy with the Sterling Italy rope chain was given to me to sell for a friend. Probably not a very valuable piece, it is only 20 grams, Unless those are Ruby's. Most likely garnet or glass.
The charm is just marked Sterling on the back, no maker.

No marks on the dog itself? The stones look like crystals or possibly synthetic rubies. Have you tested it to make sure it's silver?

    The stones are probably glass.
There are a lot of shepherd pendants around, you can check for asking prices. I hope your friend doesn't have high expectations.:nailbiting:

Thank you all for the help. I don't really like selling things for other people but he found this and he thought because I sell on Ebay I could sell it and split the $. The Dog is marked also Sterling on the back.

Also referencing Malinois is an excellent idea.

Trying to help LOL as it’s not worth much but has a shot if auctioned. I sure wouldn’t do a BIN on it.

Good Mikey-it has a shot that way but that’s friendship beyond the call of duty IMO. In gold, yes but not in silver.

    It looks like a copy/reproduction made by a student/hobbyist.

That might explain why I haven't been able to find another like it.
