Peru 925 bowl help with maker if possible

Trying to Id this silver bowl marked Peru 925. It has other marks but I think it was a poor strike or worn away. I tried to get pictures of the mark but they are only about 1/16" tall but what I can read follows spaces indicate where there are spaces in the lettering. ? means I think that is the letter but not sure. PERU 925 VA??O K. I think it is PERU 925 VA CO and then with no other letters between and 3/16 gap (enough for 5 or 6 letters) a K. Sorry but like I said the letters are only about 1/16" tall.

It's most likely 'VASCO' - the hammered surface is typical of their stuff...

Is there any possibility that the Sipan figure is solid gold? I have dealt in a lot of jewelry and it sure looks like it. It is also attached to the bowl with two pins (there are two balls of solders on the outside of the bowl where it is attached) Probably plated but not worn because of where it is. Can't find much info on Vasco any idea when it was made?

 

It looks like DragonflyWink was right. I believe it is Vasco, but the only thing I can find on them is jewelry. They made a lot of sterling and 18k jewelry and just got the little guy tested and he is solid 18k gold. Does anyone have any history on Vasco?
