Help Identifying Ladle

    Hi, looking for some help identifying the hallmarks on the ladle, I believe its solid silver. Any information much appreciated 20221004_191927.jpg 20221004_192021.jpg

    Silver plate and likely English. It appears that the lowest stamp down in your picture is upside down. EP stands for electro plate.

    I tried both US and English lists of makers but did not find a match yet. The number of makers in either country was enormous in the late 1800s and many were not documented and are lost of history.

    Many thanks, that makes sense. I hadn't picked up on the meaning of EP, I assumed it was a makers mark. It's from my late fathers estate, I don't have any other information about it. Presumably it's of little value.
