Might not be as spectacular as the Newcomb, but this was truly satisifying. Spotted it, thought it wasn't your average brass tray maybe, and, hey, for fifty pence I'd grab it.

Can you see what I saw when I looked properly?

    Nope. ;)

The clue is in the tiny letters underneath. It's a proper antique though.

Think of the U.K. Lake District…..
    Nice find @Ownedbybear :)
I found another, commemorating the Levens Hall topiary gardens.

Well I found the teensy tiny letters, but if the Lake District is a hint, I'm still clueless. It's still a lovely piece!

Picked these up yesterday for a whopping 50 cents a piece. I adore them and they'll look very nice for an art wall I have planned, but the longer I stare at them the older they look...?

The little reverse-painted mirrors are Peruvian. Don't think they're terribly old.

    Tray!

The link, in a way, with yours is that they were part of an academic movement for design.

Now if I can only find some Newlyn School copper.......

I actually had to Google it. It's Cornish, so now I'm interested. Not that I'll ever find any.

I would guess the vendor had hauled that bull back and forth for a few weeks, and was glad to see it gone.

Found my first piece of Carnival Glass without a label saying Carnival Glass. 1909 (according to one seller) Dugan Peach Opalescent Tri footed Bowl. This went immediately to the permanent collection.
