Featured Swan salts...

    My late Mom collected swans as well as open salts and salt spoons, the salt collection started in the early '70s, with clear EAPG pieces that showed up in box-lots of stuff for our short-lived shop and progressed over the years. She limited it to clear glass, swans, and silver after she talked me out of most of my silver salts (it was Mom, couldn't turn her down). I'd recently finished polishing and photographing her solid silver swan salts before packing them away for my collection when a silver group I belong to did a 'figural theme' week - so I posted them, the response was more than I'd expected (Mom would have enjoyed their appreciation), and thought I'd post them here too...

    Those are all absolutely wonderful!!! :happy::happy::happy:

    My favorite is the German one with the shell-shaped salt atop the swan. :D

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    OH MY, my Mom would have been ALL OVER those upper images!!!! She had a bit of a collection of them that were large and sterling as well, (so maybe hers weren’t salts) that went when we sold off her estate back in 2004!!! Yours, Cheryl, are GORGEOUS!!!! (I’m just popping in….only 2 days left of Vaca….it’s been great but have to clean tomorrow!!!) IF the Frozen Mudslide slipping down ATM doesn’t lay me down FIRST :happy::hilarious::p:D!

    Your mother's good taste rubbed off onto you. You both have the same ability to display with such good taste the objects you chose to collect. Thank you for sharing your mother's passion.
