Got a few historic photos. This woman is identified as Linnie everywhere I've seen.

I think the original writing on the back says otherwise

A Hewitt Bros Parian ware bust of Rabbie Burns, all of twelve cents. Filthy when I got it, but Magic Eraser did its thing. (I should have done a before and after.) V63A.jpg V63B.jpg V63D.jpg V63C.jpg

And an odd little Bakelite clip. I grabbed it thinking dress clip, but I suspect it's a tie clip, looking again.

I've had that taller wee teapot and it was indeed Kevin Chen, it had a label. The price on that enamelware dish is in dirhams, which fits with it being from the UAE - or at least, it was sold there.

Acquired this piece of Roseville Pottery recently. Everything else I tried to bid on I got outbid by a mile.

My first thought was Persian design when I saw it, but Islamic is probably more to the point. No surprise it popped up in the Emirates.

Cool! Some Coke collector would jump on that. I've never seen an orange Coke bag before, but if memory serves they make an orange-flavored Coca Cola in Germany.

Yeah, I was pretty happy when I found it. I don't collect Coke things exclusively, but I love vintage advertisements. It looks way oranger in the picture than it is in real life. It's the normal coca cola red color in person.

Oh well - I was hoping it was something seriously rare and worth $$$$ instead of merely unusual and worth $$.

I wish. :hilarious: At the very least, it will make a good cooler bag for when I go to the grocery store.
