I'm hoping someone can give me some information on this lamp. I found one very similar that was described as being from the 20s or 30s but with that and some of the other descriptions they used I'm pretty sure they were aiming in the dark. I'm hoping someone knows the style or what area of Italy it may be from or has an estimate on its age. I will be very thankful for any help or ideas.

It's 50s or 60s. The Bitossi Facebook group are good on makers, but I suspect it's Bellini or Fratelli Fanciulacci.

Problem is, several companies did this sgraffito polychrome stuff.

I searched sgraffito polychrome and found a very similar one that sold at a Bonhams auction along with two other pieces and it described it as, "a compressed circular bottle, now drilled and mounted as a table lamp." So I did learn that. The entire lot only went for 348 dollars and I imagine the lamp was the lesser of the pieces. Also I've seen this style called sgraffito majolica. Is that and apt term or two separate styles?

Sgraffito is the cut pattern on it. Majolica is typically used for older high fired glossy tin glazed wares: this one is maiolica strictly. Tin glaze on terracotta.
