sampler age ?

    hi folks

    something i found in a charity shop today for a pound, im thinking 19th century but unsure as it hasn't got a date on it, seems old

    prices seem to vary quite wildly on ebay for these it seems, suppose depending on how elaborate or different they are

    measures 16 inches

    would this be a basic type one ?

    think its quite sweet, by a child ?

    any thoughts appreciated

    I did think that to be honest, but there's more than four characters I think, 2 more pinkins at the end
