And then there were necklaces. Can anyone read that damn tag? Also seriously cheap.

 

Brooches. The black one is glass in perfect condition which is astonishing.

 

Really nice bangle, unusual mark, which is 30s ish.

And a wotsit.

 

Just hopped in to say your enamel rose necklace is Finift, Rostov, Russia (in case you didn't know).
Love the green Czech necklace, and the black and orangey-red oh so Art Deco one.

The silver brooches are interesting: same maker, bought at separate times, marked silver IB Made in England.

The acorn cufflink is cute. Only 1? Make nice pendants?

 

It isn't a cufflink, it's HUGE. I'm thinking maybe a cloak clasp that went through two holes.

The thistle is Miracle, so not silver. The two IB ones are the floral one which looks very black, might be deliberate and the one with the leaves.

That one with the silver looking frame is rather nice enamel on metal. The amber beaded one is all glass.

The gold one with the glass rings almost has to be Czech too, or the beads are.

Rostov huh... a friend lived there for years, but he's a geeky dude who wouldn't have looked at the jools. I thought it was more likely Persian, but enamelwork on brass tends to travel. My favorite is the owl, but I'm a sucker for enamel. And it's bright.

Yup, I think the amber/gold glass is Czech. The clusters are woven beads on thread, too.

Owl is millefiori enamel on metal. I love owls. He was 25 pence. Last of the big spenders, me.

It is indeed a fob, I need to check it out.

 

Bear, is that circular piece turquoise? I am noticing the older chain and clasp.

 

The wee rose gold coloured one? Yes, and I think Persian. It's marked 925 so vermeil.

 

You might try the old pencil rubbing trick on the mark we can't read, or get some silly putty and press it in for an impression of the mark. All nice stuff, but I do like the silver brooches for some reason.

 

Good thought on the rubbing. The silver brooches, I should have said, are by Bernard Instone. Did some lovely bits.

I really do like the black glass one and it was silly cheap. Can't believe the condition.
