Featured Whieldon pottery vase

    Hiya all,
    Got this today, has on old antique dealers price on it. I have no idea about this pottery but it was a steal of a price. Is it still collectable?

    I'm honestly not seeing Whieldon. More Belgian maybe.

    I was thinking more Belgian early 20th century too.

    The sticker is scary looking. I think if it was truly from whieldons period it would be worth even more than that.

    It is really nice either way. I have a lot of the English vases from the art nouveau period with these kinds of glazes. Beautiful

    Doesn't look at all like any Whieldon that I've seen, and I've only seen photos because there's nowt like it here. :)

    Hmmm. Could it be Oaxaca dripware / Mexican majolica? The handles representing the feathered winged serpent deity Quetzalcoatl?

    I though of Mexican dripware also because of the look of the handles and glaze. Not sure about the base, could be correct.

    Glaze and handles are very typical of early 20th Belgian. Base too.
