Featured Kimono

    Hi all!
    I bought it a while ago just because it was so pretty but have no clue what type it is and how old / new it might be. Is it a casual scene? It has a small stamp on the back but it says me nothing. All thoughts are much appreciated:) Thank you x

    Made for sale in Japan, not for export. That round mark is the symbol for the maker's name, if you can find someone who can read Mon. (i.e. Japanese heraldic name badges, basically) It may have been worn for May Day or similar.

    That's a match. Not sure what it has to do with the makers of the Kimono, but that's whose mark it is.
