Vintage jewellery rental, would you believe. https://rental.francescaelliott.com/vintage-jewellery-subscription Or, you just buy a box a month. https://francescaelliott.com/
“THE FUTURE OF FASHION IS CIRCULAR” Yes, that is exactly what we've been doing for years, we circulate jewellery. And we don't have to pay extra insurance so our jewellery is protected when people we don't know wear it, or 'keep' it.
Their prices are crazy!!! This year I was interviewed by a local paper about and antique show I was doing and I said "We are in the biggest recycling business by buying and selling antiques." The interviewer's eyes lit up and she said "You are so right!"
Wow, that’s expensive! £100 for a pair of plain gold tone Monet earrings……. I could pick those up at a car boot or charity shop for a quid!
I turned a pair of plain jane Trifari ones down today... for 25 cents. Not worth the bother. If they can get that whacking price for Monets I can't even give away, more power to 'em!
I think they focus on the younger market with money. Most young people don't have the jewellery experience and savviness we oldies have, and if they have the money, they will spend it.
I was wondering who raided my closet. I have so much I start to separate & then life happens. So I out it all back into the boxes.
Those prices are insane! You could do far better going to a vintage or antique shop, never mind a car boot or yard sale! Unbelievable! On a totally unrelated note, I have not gotten any notifications from the group for over a month. I have checked my notification settings and written Peter twice with no luck. Can anyone give me a clue as to how to fix this? I can't see any posts on my phone unless I log into the site so I have to catch up on the PC when I'm home. Thanks!
I think that happened after the new security certificate, I don't get them anymore either. With my mailbox overflowing, I don't really mind.
I hadn't seen one for a good while even before the security certificate went dipsey-doodle. So....dunno. Can't say I miss them.
Thanks, ladies! The updates were easy to read and stay up-to-date with. Now, I forget to read them till about a week has gone by. It's a chore. And I DO want to read them because there is SOOOO much useful info from the members.
