looking for Identification, fake or real , value

I think this is for washing your hands without touching anything. Maybe for a church?

 

All I could think to call it was a lavabo. But found one with image search with more keywords that might help you out. I can't vouch for any of it so do more research.

I did have that site and a couple of others, but I am unsure how to tell if it is an original. I did a test with a magnet to see if it is 100% Bronze. I did the ring test and it passed.

Can't image there's a big market for counterfeit puisettes.

The magnet test only tells you if something is magnetic or not, it doesn't tell you if it is bronze.

You're right, it is a lavabo, meant to wash your hands. The French word puisette is also used.
An aquamanile is a hand-held water jug, as the name implies: aqua=water, manus=hand (as in manual). Aquamaniles are often in the shape of mythical animals or they have human faces.

These were originally used in 15th-16th century Continental Europe, but many were reproduced during the 19th century Historic Revival period. Those repros are antique now.
Aquamaniles were also reproduced in the 19th century.
