"A Norwegian Fjord" by Edward Price, 1871. 15-1/2" x 11-1/2" (sight) oil painting in fine unlined condition. Currently one of my favorites.

Before going on holiday on the 26th I had a week long hoarder clearance to do in a nearby village.
Relatives came over from Missouri and insisted they stay in the house until I finished.
They recovered lots of boxed proof sets of coins, both US and UK.
I never got to see the US coins as they packed them away to take back to the US.

The UK coinage they asked me to buy from them.
As I collect coins I gave them a fair price.

On the last day they flew back to the US and left a large pile of rubbish outside for me to remove.
I found a British coin display case among the rubbish, they obviously thought it was new and empty so they threw it out.
What they did not realise was it was a double tray and underneath I found 12 various US silver dollars.
Silver eagles, Morgan and several commemoratives

In the attic I found a limited edition painting #13/50.
Research says its by a noted British artist Julian Trevelyan (1910-1988)
Its titled "Boy with goat" and dated 1959.

His stuff fetches between £250 and £12,000 at auction but I can't find a sold price for the other 49.
One is in a university collection and another is digitally stored at Tate.

A also got these bowls or ashtrays and eggs, they weighed too much to take back to the US and were left with me.

I'm told they are malachite and from Zambia.
    They weigh 17llbs( 7.7kg)

What does the Tate say about the digital copy, do they say what the original is?

MMM, says ink and watercolor, maybe studies for the print. With that broad swath of color it may be something like a lithograph rather than etching. Calling @moreotherstuff :)

    may be a serigraph...
13 of 50 is a popular edition size..

although...that edging could signify a stone litho..?

University of Warwick describes theirs as a "colour etching." They've 29/50.

I might have probably left the big piece & possibly the bowl but those eggs would have never been left behind as they are gorgeous!! :p:p:p

    ...& Davey scores once again!!! :woot::woot::woot::woot: :D

They likely thought you were some hick that just hauls away the trash & not a very experienced, sophisticated treasure hunter with years of experience ferreting out the "good stuff". ;):playful::playful: :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Looks like an etching to me. Seems to have a plate mark. The colour might have been added through a separate process like woodblock. Mixed media.
