I have a question for Vernon Kilns aficionados that can provide some insight into the scarcity of the reverse image version in the Moby Dick pattern 14" Chop Plate. It has the seagull flying on the right instead of the left, as most pieces depict. I found one reference indicating the reverse image is rare, but no specific details were available. I am also curious to find a value difference between the two versions of the chop plates. Any Vernon Kilns experts? Thanks in advance. moby4.jpg
