I am trying to identify the stone in this necklace (I struggle with stone id). I test and research but then I am still unsure. Could it be Labradorite? It is in a .925 setting. I have included a picture of the Presidium results. Thanks for looking and any help you experts can provide. How can I get better at this???? Just in case, the necklace is probably Indian, as in made in India.

Go to a rock and gem show if possible and see and handle as many different stones as you can outside of settings, both polished and unpolished. It is really fascinating and eye opening to see all the variations and all of your jewelry MVPs in their natural form. Searching for natural specimens on eBay or Etsy might be another option. Seeing them like that helped me a lot in learning to identify various stone, although I'm still far from perfect and new variations crop up all the time.
