This is another pin from my collection. Early 1900's, I would think. It is stamped faintly, sterling, on the back. Measures about an inch long. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of stone that is?

BEST I could lighten it up, and PLEASE don't ask me what it says, as I really don't have much of a clue!!! Kind of doesn't look like English to me! Seems to be some "Possible" only potential tiny writing over by the hinge, but it may also NOT be writing!!:(

Which is GREAT, I just didn't see it anywhere....and he said it was "faintly" stamped....doesn't mean it's not there!!! I just try to make things more visible.....and NOT always successfully, as you all know!!!!:rolleyes:

You're succesful nearly all the time, and if you're not, it's not your fault, but an impossible picture to work with.
In short, you always do a 'sterling' job.:kiss:

Sorry, I took the picture upside down. Can you do a 180 rotation?
