Warnings on this site

    I’m getting warnings that this site may be hacked etc, and advice to avoid it. Says the certificate expired 7/14. ????

    Yes, this has been reported multiple times and no one knows why it isn't being corrected and why Peter or another web-site admin hasn't provided an ETA for a fix. Hopefully it's not a health issue

    Safari flatly refuses to connect or offer options. FireFox allows an over-ride of their warning...and here I are!
    Let us all pause for a moment to hope right along with you!

    Note, also, how inconvenient such a small thing can be...an' how dependent we are on invisibles & intangibles.

    Speaking for myself,Ive been a member of a lot of different boards over the years and this one I truly treasure. Everyone has become friends,as far as one can be friends online. I love knowing everyones quirks,and personalities,and I cant begin to expound on how much Ive learned. Im embarassed now to rrealize how little I DID know before Antiquers,and I fancied myself quite smart !

    I do still visit a few sites without the security certificates. Some old low-tech sites that you don't need to register on just plain don't need them, so don't have them.

    Me too! Have been getting strenuous warnings from three different browsers. Don't use passwords or personal information on this site!

    Whew! I'm so glad it is fixed today. :joyful: I've just been lurking for a week :chicken: no signing in.

    First time I could log in, also, although I was able to use my phone yesterday to override the "warning." But I find it difficult to type an answer on a tiny phone keyboard. So I'm glad to be back!
