Converted oil lamp ID help. Are these makers marks? Dog Breed?

    Susan thank you for all the great information and links. I was so tired last night I couldn't read and retain. Tonight I finally went through it all. I didn't see my design doing a quick search but I will take another look. I don't see a signature on the painting.
