1.jpg mark.jpg back.jpg face.jpg Not sure how this website works, trying to post a figurine and get some ideas as to what the backstamp may indicate. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's an 18th C mark similar to this for Prince F.W.E. Hildburghausen. I don't think this is anywhere near that old, and the mark is an imitation.

Jacob if you know it why not post it here so we can all learn:).

Rontgen's book of marks has these though I do not know if they are correct.

    Von Hildburghhausen
Edit, I type too slowly ;)

Thanks, you're right, it's only similar, not close enough. Any idea if it could be German, French?

Jarco.:) It is a Slavic name, which is sometimes used in the Netherlands as well.

My apologies to Jarco, I think autocorrect must have "helped" me and I didn't realize. At least that is my guess. Truly sorry for the garbled name:(.

All the same, sharing what you know with others is truly a joy here and I would encourage anyone to share if they know or even suspect something to be possible.

It is amazing to watch the progress that happens when the community works together on something:)
