It's a "go red for women", i.e. heart health, pin. No idea whodunnit.

I found that heart health thing too, no clue why the red dress means that.

    A dress = a woman.;)
The 'Wear Red for Women' day is when people are urged to wear red to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women. Which presents itself very differently from men, but many patients and doctors(!) don't know the signs. Possible signs I should say, because they are much like a few other conditions, which is why it sneaks up on women more than on men.:(

Yes, there's been some good work done on that. There's starting to be a real recognition that if medical staff aren't taught that women and people of colour have different symptoms in many condtions, things go badly wrong.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The "Go Red For Women" campaign started in 2004. I didn't find when that exact logo started... whether it was the same year or later. Anyway, the pin is 18 years old or newer.

I'm almost terminally uninformed...it can't help but show on not-so-rare occasion. Sigh.
