Hello all, seeking some advice. I have been gifted some AJB Grafton "Dawlish" 5961, cups, saucers, milk jug and sugar bowl. I want to find out if they ever made a teapot? I have searched in Google without success. Is there somewhere I might find this info out? I have tried the usual for sale sites, plus replacement pieces websites.. I can find very little on this specific crockery. I've got a feeling requesting this info comes under not allowed under the Rules but not sure how to seek help otherwise (if that makes sense) Screenshot_20220713_181849.jpg

    Welcome! You'll like it here...
I'm pretty new here, too, Cath...but I don't think you've transgressed with your request. Soon enough a more knowledgable denizen, or a moderator, will chime in about that aspect of your post. Good luck!

Welcome, Cath! Nothing wrong with asking this question. But you may not get an answer. Although we have many knowledgable members and excellent "searchers," they may need more details about the maker and pattern. We usually ask for pictures more clear than what you posted as well. And a clear picture of the bottom stamp too.

Thank you All.. . Yes sorry AB Jones...no France... But it came from an Irish friend. Its not currently in my possession, being transported, so cannot get a better picture, I have searched the Web but only found the blue version, not the yellow in the original photo above.

Well, I don't know what replacement china resources exist outside of the US (where I live) but looking in the UK is a more likely place. We have a number of UK members, so don't lose hope.

    There's Chinasearch in the UK.

It's feasible it didn't have a teapot. It might well have been that tea was made in a Brown Betty.

Replacements.com has it listed, but only a bread and butter plate. Under Royal Grafton Dawlish.
