Woven wrapped 9” bottle. Native American? or?

    Any ideas what I have here?

    Woven wrapped 9” bottle. Ground glass stopper. Apothecary? Medicine?

    Looks a bit like some of the woven bottle work by Hupa, Karuk, Yurok, or other West Coast Indian tribes, although there are no designs in the weaving, which one would expect from those makers.

    I would agree not Native, at least not Northwest Coast native. I'm less familiar with Hupa, Karuk, Yurok, but others here do have that familiarity.
