There was a story a few years ago about real life Vampires in South Carolina.

This vampire kit is awesome! I'm sure Van Helsing used this very one.

I once told a co-worker that I was originally from Pennsylvania.
She said, in all seriousness, "Don't they have vampires there?"
I nearly passed out.

 

There are people who think they are vampires. I saw it on tv. Wait till they are middle age and realize they need Geritol not blood to survive. LOL

 

Vampire kits got a mention on the Funnies thread, April 12 this year.

 

They sometimes are called other things around here but what I really want is the money in my checking account.

I don't remember that one. The Lizard Man yes but "real vampires" not so much.

Right now I'm scraping old paint off woodwork..... . I occasionally see hand-crafted replicas pop up. Wouldn't have one anywhere near my house, of course. Nearly every culture in the World has some version of the vampire myth. It speaks to our incessant need to know what happens to us when we cross the Veil... and how to beat the Ferryman. Ever seen the movie "Lost Boys"? That's where I am at ( for real) ..... they filmed it here ...fun times ! I know a few people that were extras in the movie , they show it every year at the Boardwalk on the beach on a big screen ( back this year after covid)

 

Loved that film!

 

Look if Brad Pitt shows up here as the vampire he played in the movie... I will believe.
