    That's what it looks like to me, both the marking and the color of the surface.

    I agree. That yellowish colour is very much alpacca (I prefer not to use a term with 'silver' in it, in spite of the mark).

    In some exotic countries they put the word silver on items but it's just the name of one of the owner cousin…:bag:
    More seriously I've seen that in coffers with a great number of service pieces through the time in the business, with red flamboyant velvet liner and it can be everything including nickel.
