I found the last one....the pattern is called Orient, info I found with it: Orient: Reed & Barton, 1879, Pat. # 11212, W. C. Beattie design

    Do other companies copy designs?

Not without permission if the design is patented. I think the mark is the retailer. I could not find that mark.

This weekend was absolutely dead. One tag sale that looked so dismal, a modern moving sale, that I didn't bother trying to get out of bed. Another sale looked better, but it was in a tag sale shark's neighborhood if it wasn't her sale. No thanks. No point. I did find this in my pile o'stuff. Some of the silver charms are 60s Bell Telephone. I love the one of the lady changing the magnetic tape rolls in the computer!

Nice I used to work with those back in the day, and other comp kit that now looks like ancient history.

I did an antique show Saturday and a woman came in my booth looking to sell some family items. I made an offer on some of it and she was very happy to accept :)

Left: black glass bead purse, silver plate and celluloid frame.
Right: metallic bead purse, brass frame.

Top left: petit point purse, brass frame with glass stones and I have to research those yellow parts.
Bottom left: green brocade purse, brass frame.
Right: embroidered, the black fabric has some issues :( frame is marked for 830 silver.
    Purses2.jpg

Starting left: sterling purse by Gideon Bek.
Second: sterling change purse by R. Blackington & Co.
Third: Sterling compact, it had powder and a flat puff, I took them out to clean it and have saved them.
Last: marked sterling, I'm not sure what it is, I will take more photos and ask on the silver forum. SilverBits.jpg

Here is the Bek purse opened, it has an attached change purse inside.

Unknown maker of gold tone bracelet but well made, (on the Jewellery forum)
The cuff is Bell nickel silver cost 50p. Think the turquoise is faux but US people here will know better than I.
9ct Gold spiral earrings and pendant with chain, silver heart locket and chain, some silver rings and earrings. Costume bits.
The goldtone brooch is Crown Trifari.

Nice collection! Glad you collected them!

As for the Bell Trading piece, if it's one of the nickel ones odds are the stones are glass. The base design was one they made in copper too. I have two of those, both plain and with a yin/yang kinda-sorta design attached.

I do so covet that Bell bracelet. My IT telecoms career started a bit later than that, but it's such history.

Hello @Houseful To me the cuff looks real, but I am not an expert. Could you please post closeup picture of the turquoise cuff, including any marks on the inside? My sister is a huge Native American jewelry buff and I will ask her about your cuff.

I’m not at home at the moment and will post more pics in a couple of days but it does feel a bit too hard and glassy as evelyb says to be turquoise.

The company went out of business in 1983, and the base design goes back into the 50s or 60s. It's a solid 40 years old, which to some of us is relatively recent come to think. When it comes to jewelry anyway.

The MS is messing with my astimatism and strobismus again, but my eyes focus just fine (it just makes me mildly seasick) but off to church I went. On the way home I stopped in the Ill Will to look for mistakes. Got a 16-piece set of red Fostoria Argus glasses for $17 including tax. I'm no glassie, but two had the original paper labels. Made life easy.
