Featured Moss agate earrings, what is this mark?

If indeed it is a mark. It's the same on both earrings, trying to figure out how old they are. The butterfly backs are not the originals.

 

Ooh, those are nice! Can we see them with light shining through?.
Also can you get a photo of the mark in better light? Sorry I’m struggling to see it clearly.

Is this any better on your screen? It looks quite light on mine but then so did the other one. Still not sure if it's a mark it just looks like 2 squares.

 

Pretty. I'd assume moss agate too, as it's generally cheaper to use the real thing than to make a convincing glass imitation.

 

@crazycatlady, I honestly wasn't quite sure which mark you were referring to....but the lighter image is directed at just one and looks TO ME, more like a spider or a bee!! I can also be wrong, as well!!!! Maybe others will check back in!!
OK....I ran it through my TOPAZ filter...at 2.50 scale enlargement and clarified the mark by surpressing the noise by 75% and removing the blur by 75%....and don't think there was any distortion (or much, which I'm always careful of!)......BUT still not POSITIVE what the mark IS!!! I still think it might be a spider or bee, but it also looks like there's a tiny face there, so I need others to check back in!!!!!​
