NICE spoon @terry5732, but I'd trust what @Bakersgma comes up with....EVEN polished well, it was hard to clarify what was there!!!! jEB. BERNHARD??? And the 'critter' definitely looks like a standing bear with an I behind it........

The Berlin assay-master (warden) letter is a partially obscured 'L', dating 1854-1863, the Gothic 'D' is the secondary assayer mark, dating 1854-c.1864.

If you're shipping Priority, you can get assorted sizes from the USPS. I use a fair number of the Regional Rate A boxes.

Went a few places Thursday, found out a little church thrift reopened, only open for 3 hours a day on Thurs-Fri. Will be there when they open on Thursdays. Not much that day. Antique mall shoe clips $6.

Plate of costume $2-$3, orange gemstones carnelian. Pendants, goldtone costume, onyx & marquise probably rhodium, not sure what the blue stone is, maybe laboridite, has a cats eye sheen., sterling. 20220702_084954.jpg

Bracelet maybe unmarked sterling, stones test as rubies.

Silverplate is getting very hard to find here....used to pick it up all the time. If you know the patterns, let me know, I will research them later if not. Found the one on the right with the rounded bottom and leaves.

The one on the left is Rogers' Crown pattern, 1885. Can you read the makers' marks on the backs of the other 2?
