Featured Tara Lempicka signed print, what do people think of this?

    There really isn’t anything about this print that seems legit. It is obviously a direct copy of the original painting. I think they ran it through the press with a blank plate to make it look like an etching. If this was really a multiple of 75 another one would have turned up at auction.

  2. The title of the piece is Echarpe Bleue. The link by roaring 20's to invaluable shows that same piece or a copy of sold for $750. That description starts out with ATTR TAMARA LEMPICKA. With the absence of plate marks ( lithograph ) one could start thinking offset litho, serigraph, or print. There is a company https://iartprints.com/artist/tamara_de_lempicka.html they reproduce all kinds of prints and paintings of Lempicka's works. That being said most of the time the information to truly identify pieces is through books. The information in them is usually not available for free online nor should it be. I would see if your local library can get a loaner of Tamara De Lempicka : Catalogue Raisonne 1921-1979. A used copy on Abe Books will set you back $500.
