Boudy- I watched the entire run (30-40 yrs) in the first 3 or 4 months of Lockdown, love Matt & Phil cracks me up.Real Archaeologists aint' just metal detectors or bottle diggers (though especially in UK & Europe they do dig some ass-kicking stuff but destroy provenance & evidence). Time Team Pros play their trowels like a Stradivarius ! Wish they would've filmed another 20-30 years. MATT NEWS - Matt now co-presents ‘Digging for Britain’ with Alice Roberts, and the new series will be starting in 2016 on BBC Four.I'll have to find BBC Four.

I love Phil too, he's great. I don't actually watch TV and don't have one I just catch things on youtube now & again.

I love metal detector-ers, I grew up as one, no better fun can be had ! I have an old C Scope but so finicky I never use her.

I didn't know there was a prog with Matt n that woman in, I'll give it a go if it's on youtube but will have to FF the non Matt bits xx

Well I live near Wales so really none of these words really apply...trying to think what I'd use to say *crazy*...insane probably. I have never used any of the above literally ever. Never heard of head-the-ball actually, is that a real one? xx

'scrummy' as in 'scrum' on a football field (pitch ?).

God knows. Lol. Herefordians ( where I live) hate the Welsh. The only reason Hereford is here is to keep the Welsh out of England. We're on the Marches. Grrrrrrrr

( Hadrian's Wall separates Scotland from England. I live near Wales, miles and miles away. Offa's Dyke separates England from Wales historically. I used to detect along some of it as a child. The Hay-on-Wye part, the beginning I think )

Hereford is famous for our cattle, amongst other things. You're right :)
