DCD00816-9884-4188-AC76-ACF4E0939467.jpeg Hi, I’ve recently found these four plates that are all marked as Doulton Burslem Rouen (Rouen being the pattern I presume). Three have a mark/stamp the online references I’ve checked indicate was used only until 1901 and one is different (just words). My confusion is they also appear to have impressed date marks - three are legible as 7-27, 10-27 and 11-27. So I’m assuming 1927, which conflicts with the stamp date - unless it was used for longer? And I cannot find any matches for the pattern except a reference to it in an even older stamp.
They also appear to have slight evidence of little holder marks from the kilns - is that normal for Doulton?
I’m assuming genuine given the difference in impressed dates (and even the stamp on the smaller plate is appropriately smaller), but I’m no expert.
Any advice or leads would be appreciated.

Yes to kiln stilt marks and yes, genuine. It's not common to get fake Doulton of this type, it wasn't expensive. This looks like hotel or restaurant ware.

Your backstamp is indeed 1891 to 1902. Rouen will be the transfer pattern.

Try measuring the plates. I think you'll find 7-27 is seven inches, 10-27 is ten inches and 11-27 is eleven inches across. Burslem didn't do date marks.

Thanks @Ownedbybear - I’ve checked and the sizes don’t match - the 7-27 the largest and 10-27 plus 11-27 midsize. But maybe measuring something other than diameter or part of a shape identification?

It may well be a different measurement. It's certainly shape related, anyhow.
