Should I recognize this white and gold china mug?

There were 10 of these mugs at the local thrift this AM. There were 3 different designs - similar stylized flowers. I only bought one because I couldn't remember if I had seen them before, or anything else, for that matter.
    Can anyone help?

Well, that didn't help, but I couldn't resist. Japanese? That's what it seems like to me.

I thought Japanese as well because of the flower.

It is Japanese as the others suggest. The flower (Cherry Blossom) at middle is also known as a Mon, but I'm not sure what clan it belongs to or what the surrounding symbol represents...sorry!

But seriously... the thing I had that came closest in design with a broad satin gold pattern was from Porsgrund, Norway.

Japanese family symbol (Mon), but not sure what clan it belongs to...
